These Terms form the agreement between the operator identified above and you when you create a BoosterMap account. BoosterMap helps users find stores and community-reported booster stock. The map and reports are informational community signals, not a guarantee that an item remains available, is authentic, or can be purchased at a particular price.
Eligibility and account
-
You must have the legal capacity required to enter this agreement or use the service with any authorisation required by the law that applies to you.
-
The launch product is not directed at children. No date of birth is collected and BoosterMap does not use a hidden age gate.
-
Keep your sign-in method secure and provide accurate information. Tell us promptly if you believe the account is compromised.
-
One person must not create accounts to evade moderation, manipulate stock signals, rewards or rate limits.
Service and community information
Store details may come from public map sources, publisher verification checklists, stores or the community. Stock availability changes quickly. Confirm important information with the store before travelling or buying. We may update, correct, suspend or discontinue a feature where reasonably necessary for security, law, product improvement or service operation, without removing mandatory consumer rights.
Your content and licence
You retain rights in content you submit. You grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, moderate and display it only as needed to operate, secure and promote the BoosterMap service. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for technically necessary backup expiry and information lawfully retained for legal claims or safety records. Anonymous stock facts may remain as place history after attribution is removed.
Submit only content you are entitled to share. Do not upload illegal content, harassment, spam, fabricated reports, doxxing, personal documents, intellectual-property infringements, undisclosed commercial promotion, malware, or photos that identify people in a context-inappropriate way.
Community rules and moderation
-
Pre-moderation: shelf photos enter safety review before public display.
-
Report mechanism: users and non-users can report illegal content, false information, spam, privacy or rights issues through the DSA contact page.
-
Block abusive users: signed-in users can block another user's reports from their own view.
-
Statement of reasons: when content or an account is restricted, the affected user receives the facts relied on, the rule or legal ground, whether automated tools were used and available redress.
-
Automated moderation may flag text or photos, but it does not by itself impose a final account restriction with legal or similarly significant effect.
Repeat-infringer policy
Proportionate action may include warning, strike, content removal, temporary suspension or permanent ban. Three upheld strikes within 90 days can lead to a 30-day suspension; repeated serious abuse after suspension can lead to a permanent ban. We may act sooner for manifestly illegal content, threats, fraud, security attacks or serious repeat abuse. Context, severity, frequency and misuse of complaint mechanisms are considered, and mandatory redress rights remain available.
Notifications
-
The service remains usable without push permission.
-
Reward updates and Nearby stock are independent transactional notification categories and can be enabled or disabled independently.
-
Marketing messages require a separate opt-in and are disabled by default. Withdrawing marketing consent does not disable requested stock or account notifications.
Paid features and store billing
No paid consumer subscription flow is enabled in the current presentation build. If BoosterMap offers paid features, the purchase screen and the App Store or Google Play confirmation sheet will show the controlling product, price, currency, billing period, included features and any trial before purchase. Store-local price and tax information shown immediately before confirmation controls over older marketing copy.
-
Auto-renewing subscriptions: when offered, a subscription renews for the displayed period unless cancelled through the relevant store at least as required by that store before renewal.
-
Trials: eligibility and conversion terms are displayed by the store. Unless cancelled in time, a trial may convert to the displayed paid subscription.
-
Cancellation: cancellation stops future renewal; access normally continues until the end of the paid period, subject to refunds, revocation and mandatory law.
-
Restore purchases: use Restore purchases in the app with the same store account. Entitlements may take a short time to reconcile through the store and RevenueCat.
-
Price changes: notice, and consent where required, follow the store rules and applicable law.
-
Refunds: request store-processed refunds through Apple or Google. This does not limit statutory remedies for a non-conforming digital service.
Apple and Google process app-store purchases under their store terms; the operator remains responsible for BoosterMap's own obligations that cannot lawfully be transferred to a store. Deleting your BoosterMap account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it separately in the store settings before deleting the account.
Right of withdrawal and digital service performance
Where EU/Czech consumer law grants a 14-day right of withdrawal for a distance contract, the statutory rules and exceptions apply. We do not impose a blanket waiver. If paid performance is to begin during that period, any express request to begin early, acknowledgment of the applicable consequences and confirmation required by law must be captured in the purchase flow. Nothing here removes rights relating to non-conforming digital content or a digital service.
Credits and rewards
Credits, badges, reputation and gifted Pro time are in-service features with no cash value unless a purchase screen expressly says otherwise. We may correct duplicate, fraudulent or erroneous grants while preserving mandatory consumer rights for anything bought for money. Community ranking and reward criteria may change prospectively with reasonable notice.
Suspension, termination and account deletion
You may request account deletion in settings. A 30-day restoration window applies before final purge. We may restrict or terminate access for material breach, illegality, fraud, safety or security reasons, normally with an explanation and redress route. Immediate action may be taken where delay creates legal, user-safety or service-security risk.
Consumer conformity and liability
Mandatory rights for digital content and digital services, including conformity, repair or restoration, price reduction and termination where legally available, are not excluded. Nothing limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. To the extent permitted by law, community stock reports and third-party store/map information are provided without a promise of continuous accuracy, and neither party is responsible for losses caused by events outside reasonable control.
Complaints, ADR and governing law
Contact the operator first using the legal contact above. Czech consumers may seek out-of-court resolution from the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce, coi.cz). Czech law governs to the extent permitted, but this does not deprive a consumer of mandatory protection or courts available under the law of their habitual residence.
Changes to these Terms
Material changes use a new version and are presented before they bind an existing user where fresh acceptance is required. We will state the effective date and give reasonable notice appropriate to the change. Continued use alone will not be recorded as an express acceptance where the law or the product's acceptance policy requires an affirmative act.
