This policy explains browser cookies and similar local technologies used on BoosterMap. The native iOS and Android apps use device storage and identifiers described in the Privacy Policy, not browser cookies.

Strictly necessary cookies

The website uses strictly necessary session, authentication, security and CSRF cookies to keep users signed in, remember an OAuth sign-in attempt, protect forms and prevent abuse. These cookies are required to provide a service requested by the user and are not used for advertising. A typical web session expires after two hours of inactivity; security cookies may be replaced sooner when you sign out or rotate a session.

Optional cookies

No advertising cookies and no cross-site behavioural advertising cookies are used in the current release. We do not currently set optional analytics cookies. If analytics, personalisation or advertising cookies are added, they will remain off until the user gives opt-in consent through a consent control. Refusing or withdrawing that consent will not prevent access to core BoosterMap functions.

Managing cookies

You can delete or block cookies in your browser. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent sign-in, registration, account settings or protected form submission from working. Any future optional consent can be withdrawn as easily as it was given.

Contact and changes

We will update this policy before introducing a new non-essential cookie purpose. A material change that requires consent will not be activated merely by changing this text; a new opt-in will be requested.
